Once the ski is on, the Active will float up on the snow and steer just like it does on dry ground.
When you get to the shop, you can roll right in without having to take off the skis, because the wheel sticks through a slot in the bottom of the ski!
This design is so revolutionary that we have received worldwide patents.
In addition to making the Active walker usable year-round in the snowy climates, the ski also functions as an obstacle climber by lifting the wheel right up and over door threshholds, small rocks, and sidewalk cracks that have other rollators stopping in their tracks.
The ski works flawlessly to let the walker glide over vertical obstacles as high as 5 cm!
